Learning and Development Executive

This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative and passionate Learning and Development Executive to join our team. Based in our regional office in London the role of the Learning and Development Executive is to work with the Head of Learning and Development to coordinate all learning and development activities to support the implementation of the Corporate learning and development strategy across a multi-brand portfolio at PPHE.

Our Learning and Development Executive will:
  • Work with the Head of L&D to plan and coordinate a centralised training calendar, including booking rooms, creating delegate forms, monitoring attendance and ensuring adequate supply of all training materials
  • Gather and analyse data and feedback to evaluate the success of L&D interventions
  • Create and distribute L&D performance data and report to the business as required
  • Support the Training Managers and the team of Inspirators with the delivery of onboarding and guest experience training where required
  • Support with the design and development of training materials and content
  • Ensure that all new starters are added into the Learn and Grow (LMS) system as part of the onboarding process
  • Ensure that all necessary mandatory/ compliance training (as part of LMS) is carried out to comply with government legislation
  • Work with the wider L&D team to identify priorities for the business and to coordinate all training courses, including the provision of apprenticeships
  • Work with the Talent Development Programmes Manager to manage the provision of apprenticeships and to ensure a quality training provision with the selected providers, communicating progress reports to key stakeholders where required
  • Coordinate any Learning Solutions Requests as they come through from the business
  • Liaise with external partners and suppliers for learning solutions delivery purposes as required

  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • A strong team-player and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • A passion for supporting the learning and development of team members in the hospitality industry
  • Experience within a similar role in hospitality (Desirable but not essential)
  • Working towards a CIPD L&D qualification or equivalent (Desirable but not essential)
