For three decades, we have collaborated with educational institutions worldwide to develop and support online, workforce-aligned learning experiences. As Pearson Online Learning Services, we successfully launched over 450 online programs with academic institutions across the globe. About the Role | Direct Boundless Learning's partnership portfolio performance and expansion.

This position holds the ultimate accountability for the short and long-term vitality of the partnership portfolio. Responsibilities include managing existing partnerships for optimal business outcomes and broadening the portfolio with both current and prospective partners. This role leads both portfolio management and sales teams, coordinating Boundless Learning's partner initiatives across various functions and serving as the primary liaison for engagement management between Boundless Learning and our portfolio partners. The role encompasses oversight of all sales initiatives and the go-to-market strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position is a vital member of the Boundless Learning Executive Leadership team, requiring consistent communication and collaboration with global marketing, enrollment, student success services, product, finance, and legal teams. The individual in this role will be the subject matter expert on all facets of the partnerships within the portfolio and will be expected to present at business reviews, executive meetings, and team gatherings. Regular interaction and engagement with Boundless Learning partners and the internal cross-functional team are anticipated.

Position Purpose

To advance partnerships with esteemed higher education institutions, corporations, associations, and other organizations. To manage and optimize existing agreements for quality, effectiveness, market share enhancement, and growth. To identify and secure new partnership opportunities to broaden the portfolio.

Core Tasks

  • Lead the formulation and execution of a well-defined growth and engagement strategy for the portfolio and partners aimed at delivering substantial and sustainable growth.
  • Manage relationships with senior-level stakeholders at partner organizations and influence significant long-term strategy and investment decisions.
  • Oversee and guide the Portfolio Management and Growth team across all regions in achieving portfolio objectives.
  • Direct business development and sales strategy, planning, and execution.
  • As a core member of the Executive Leadership Team, provide leadership across the organization and contribute to strategy development and key decision-making.

Key Relationships

  • Manages a diverse range of senior/executive relationships externally with partners.
  • Collaborates with colleagues on the Executive Leadership Team to provide leadership to the team, set company strategy, and drive decisions.
  • Works closely with the SVP of Acquisition and Retention and the Chief Product and Technology Officer on delivering products and services to partners.
  • Partners with the CFO and CLO to negotiate complex legal and commercial agreements with partners on behalf of Boundless Learning.
  • Collaborates with the SVP of Acquisition and Retention, the Chief Product and Technology Officer, CFO, and CLO on structuring and negotiating extensions to partnerships and new partnerships.
