**Position Overview**:
CYPHER Learning is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by cultivating and managing key client relationships. Your primary focus will be on enterprise level deals (mainly corporate, some in academia) building long-term partnerships with existing clients and identifying new business opportunities within the DACH territory (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). You’ll develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with key clients to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Prospect and identify new potential clients within the assigned territory to generate new business opportunities.
- Works directly with clients to learn their goals and establish how the company can meet them, managing the entire sales cycle from identifying potential clients to securing and closing deals.
- Develop and execute cold and warm outreach plans to reach and establish rapport with decision-makers.
- Partner with Marketing to provide essential feedback on MQL generation quality.
- Deliver quality and tailored demonstrations of CYPHER Learning’s products to showcase our solutions and value propositions.
- Activate sales channels, build a qualified pipeline, lead complex sales cycles, and close a minimum of 3-5 deals per month (per client profile and average deal size guidelines).
- Negotiate contract terms and close deals to secure new business and achieve sales goals.
- Create account plans and strategies to drive business growth and maximize client satisfaction in partnership with the Customer Success Team.
- Use CRM to collect high-quality data for your own dashboard analysis, self-management, and action planning.
- Rapidly improve your working knowledge of the market, each customer, and buyer persona.
- Stay up to date with CYPHER Learning’s products, the industry, changes, and our competitive landscape.
- Understand CYPHER Learning relationships, including worldwide integrators, and how they relate to CYPHER Learning sales.

**Your Skills & Experience**:

- 5 to 7 years of LMS or LXP sales experience into the DACH region (required)
- **Fluent command of the German language (mandatory)**:

- Experience selling like solutions into corporate and/or education segments is highly preferred.
- Must have a strong understanding of enterprise software sales cycles and the ability to work with Executive-level decision-makers.
- Verifiable history of accountability, creativity, and perseverance in building qualified sales pipelines.
- The demonstrated ability to create 50% or more of your own leads each month to over-achieve your goal.
