ChiefExecutive Officer
HETAS and Woodsure arenot for profit organisations within Cleaner Safer Group, dedicatedto promoting cleaner, safer environments by reducing particulateand carbon emissions. They work collaboratively with government,industry experts and innovators to provide expert advice, trainingand evidence-based information. Their mission is to set industrybenchmarks for best practices, increase the use of cleaner fuelsand efficient appliances, and influence legislation to improve airquality and public health.
RoleOverview: They are seeking a dynamic and visionaryChief Executive Officer to lead their organisation into its nextphase of growth and impact.
The successful candidatewill be a charismatic leader, passionate about environmentalsustainability, and equipped with the skills and experience toinfluence government policy, lead a senior leadership team and setand drive the organisation's strategic visionforward.
KeyResponsibilities:
StrategicLeadership: Develop and articulate a clear visionand strategy for Cleaner Safer Group, in alignment with theirmission and objectives. Lead and empower the senior leadership teamto execute strategic initiatives and drive organisational growth.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and excellencethroughout the organisation.
GovernmentRelations and Policy Influence: Build and maintaineffective relationships with government stakeholders, policymakersand regulatory bodies. Advocate for policies and regulations thatpromote cleaner fuels, efficient appliances and environmentalsustainability. Utilise expertise and influence to shape nationaland EU standards for appliances, fuels and installationpractices.
StakeholderEngagement: Represent HETAS Ltd as a trusted expertadvisor and influential presenter, both internally andexternally.
Engage with industry stakeholders,businesses, consumers and regulators to provide up-to-date adviceand promote best practices. Actively participate in industryevents, conferences, and forums to promote Cleaner Safer Group'smission and objectives. Operational Excellence: Through the seniorleadership team, oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuringefficient and effective delivery of services and programs. Monitorkey performance indicators, financial metrics and organisationalimpact to drive continuous improvement. Ensure compliance withrelevant laws, regulations and industrystandards.
Qualifications andExperience: Demonstrated experience in a seniorleadership role, ideally within a related industry or non-profitorganisation. Proven track record of influencing government policyand regulatory frameworks. Strong understanding of environmentalsustainability issues and a passion for driving positive change.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the abilityto engage and inspire diverse stakeholders. Strategic thinker withthe ability to translate vision into actionable plans and deliverresults. Collaborative leadership style with experience leading anddeveloping high-performing teams.
