We are looking to recruit an experienced individual with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, to join our Performance and Business Improvement Team. Reporting to our Performance & Assurance Manager, our Data Governance Lead will oversee our data lifecycle - designing and implementing efficient data management systems, ensuring data accuracy and security, analysing data to draw conclusions and report findings to upper management for use throughout the organisation. 

What will our Data Governance Lead do;  

  • Be responsible for developing and implementing data governance policies and standards, ensuring data quality and integrity. 

  • Manage data access and security and ensuring compliance with data regulations and best practices. 

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to establish data governance roles and responsibilities. 

  • Define and monitor data governance metrics and KPIs, such as data quality, data dictionary, data classification, data risk, and data issues. 

  • Provide data governance training and guidance to data stakeholders and users, promoting data governance awareness and culture. 



What we are looking for; 

  • Hold or be working towards a qualification in data/statistics or have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a data compliance, data analysis, reporting or performance management environment. 

  • Experience and understanding of KPIs and Performance Management. 

  • Proven knowledge in data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures. 

  • Strong leadership, project management, and change management skills, with the ability to drive and facilitate data governance activities and initiatives. 

  • have an excellent customer focus, that takes into account the diverse needs of our customers.
