The Senior Director of Human Resources – Topps EMEA will report directly to the SVP of Human Resources, and will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing HR strategies aligned with our business goals. This strategic leadership role demands someone who can navigate the complexities of international expansion, organizational development, and process improvement within the sports and entertainment industry.

This position will be responsible for handling a wide variety of duties, which include, but are not limited to the ones listed below.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute HR strategies tailored to support international expansion and address the unique needs of the EMEA region.
  • Serve as the primary expert in organizational development, guiding the implementation of change management strategies, mergers and acquisition integration, optimization of organizational structures, cultural initiatives, process enhancements, and team development.
  • Partner closely with business leaders to develop and execute an international strategy and plan, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regional requirements.
  • Drive effective talent retention strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent within the competitive international market.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture by spearheading programs that enhance employee satisfaction, well-being, and performance.
  • Lead initiatives related to organizational design, change management, and workforce planning to support the evolving structure and growth trajectory of the company.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with relevant laws and regulations across the international-EMEA geographies, proactively mitigating risks associated with human resources matters.
  • Implement talent development programs to cultivate and nurture leadership talent, ensuring a robust pipeline of leaders for sustainable business growth.
  • Utilize HR technology and analytics to drive data-driven decision-making and optimize HR processes for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Partner with Legal to manage governmental charges, proceedings, and lawsuits related to employment practices within assigned client groups, minimizing risk and safeguarding the business.

Experience Needed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree and HR certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • Experience in building out global teams and infrastructure.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive pan-European HR leadership experience, with a focus on the sports and entertainment industry preferred. 
  • Proven success in developing and implementing HR strategies to support business objectives.
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
