Director of People

Michael Page Human Resources is seeking a seasoned Director of People to lead our HR Team in a strategic capacity. This is an exceptional opportunity to modernise our HR function, driving effectiveness and efficiency.

About the Role

The Director of People will be responsible for:

  1. Leading the HR function in a true strategic capacity, driving business outcomes and organisational development.
  2. Establishing and implementing a modern and strategic HR function, shaping the role and HR team.
  3. Developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and processes to support business growth and organisational development.
  4. Providing strategic advice to senior leadership and management teams on HR-related matters.
  5. Developing and implementing new performance management systems, learning management systems, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  6. Shaping a more flexible working culture and exploring new ways of working.
  7. Identifying and implementing HR projects, including engagement, organisational development, and modernisation.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Previous experience in developing and implementing HR strategies, with a strong track record of success.
  2. Strong leadership and management experience, with the ability to lead and manage an HR team at a strategic level.
  3. Experience in the commercial sector, with a strong understanding of business operations and organisational development.
  4. Strong experience in diversity and inclusion strategy and initiatives, with a proven track record of driving business outcomes.
