About the Role
We are on the look out for a Property Manager to join a well-respected property management firm and become part of a happy team in Norwich. This is a rare opportunity due to the high staff retention rate as the business is known for its positive workplace culture. Our client values each team member, fostering a supportive, professional, and enjoyable work environment. They also encourage professional development, including support for industry qualifications like ARLA Level 3.
As a Property Manager, you’ll work Monday to Friday, with a rotation of 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (offering a half-day in lieu). The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring smooth day-to-day property operations, providing exceptional service to tenants and landlords, and maintaining high standards of property care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage tenant enquiries, address concerns, and foster positive tenant relations to maintain high satisfaction levels
- Coordinate repairs, handle maintenance requests, and ensure compliance with safety regulations by liaising with contractors and suppliers.
- Conduct property inspections, report findings, and plan preventative maintenance as necessary
- Ensure compliance with all property laws and regulations, including lease agreements and safety standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Background in the Lettings industry, particularly Property Management
- Proven experience in property management with knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- A valid driving license and professional demeanor
