The Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with partners to create and implement practice area and marketing plans.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop actionable client and intermediary engagement plans.
  • Support cross-selling and firmwide initiatives, ensuring the practice is represented effectively.
  • Lead on strategic campaigns, events, and pitch activity, providing analysis and conducting post-pitch reviews.
  • Develop profile-raising plans for the practice and individuals, leveraging PR and marketing channels.
  • Work with knowledge lawyers and fee earners to identify trends and create impactful thought leadership content.
  • Manage and mentor a Business Development Executive and coordinate with central resources such as the pitch team and PA hub.
  • Act as a key liaison between partners and the broader marketing and BD teams to ensure alignment with firmwide goals.


The Candidate:

  • Minimum of 8 years in business development or marketing within professional services; corporate and M&A experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders, including partners and practice leaders.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and tenacious approach to identifying and implementing initiatives.
  • Excellent influencing, communication, and project management skills.
