An Assistant Site Manager/Finishing Manager needed to support a site until the end of the March.

As an Assistant Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the final stages of construction on our residential housing projects. Your primary focus will be ensuring that all finishing works are completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget. You will work closely with site managers, subcontractors, and quality control teams to deliver homes that meet our the quality criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise all finishing trades on site, including painters, carpenters, and decorators.
  • Ensure all finishing works are completed to the highest standards and in accordance with project specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
  • Coordinate with site managers and subcontractors to resolve any issues or delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Finishing Manager/Assistant Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of finishing trades and construction processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • CSCS/SMSTS/First Aid at Work
