Ticketing Operations Role

We seek a skilled Ticketing Operations Assistant to join our team at Newton Abbot station. This part-time role (17.5 hours/week) involves assisting with the day-to-day operation of ticket barriers and providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering Exceptional Customer Service: Respond to customer queries, provide information, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ticketing Operations: Assist with ticket sales, issuing tickets, and managing automatic ticket barriers.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure customer security, respond to incidents, and maintain a safe environment.
  • Station Presentation: Maintain the professional appearance of the gateline area, clearing rubbish and ensuring walkways are clear.
  • Sales and Accountancy: Sell tickets using mobile machines and manage associated accountancy processes.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:
