We are seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant to support our Finance Director on a temporary 3-month+ assignment. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for managing financial data, performing accounting tasks, and providing administrative support.
Responsibilities:
- Batching and processing invoices, including matching and coding
- Supplying and checking purchase order references
- Entering supplier invoices and other financial data into our system
- Scanning, filing, and maintaining accurate records of documentation
- Reconciling bank statements and updating fixed asset registers
Requirements:
- Good understanding of Microsoft Excel and general office software
- Partially or fully qualified AAT or relevant accounting experience
Working Environment:
- A busy finance office with a friendly and supportive team
- Excellent communication skills required for effective collaboration
Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
