Integration Specialist

Workday FINS/PSA Integration Consultant required for a 9 month contract with at least two days per week required onsite in central London.


In this role you will be a member of the Workday Team supporting our UK Workday FINS/PSA deployment, working with our implementation partner you will oversee the design and implementation of new and modified existing integrations. This is an exciting and varied role working with the wider Workday team and our SI partner to deploy Workday FINS/PSA into two of the largest creative agencies into a new market. This flagship programme will see Workday deployed across our global landscape to address the technology needs of Finance, Projects, and our People function – so essentially it touches all of our employees to some degree. The key to this programme is that technology is an enabler for change, it’s at the heart of what we do, but it’s not all of what we do. The people aspects of this programme are vital to its success. This role will help deliver that success on an ongoing basis for many years to come.


Key Responsibilities:

 Design and oversee the build of new and modified integrations as a part of the wider program team

 Co-ordinate and own deliverables with 3 rd party vendors

 Ability to get hands on with integrations development where required

 Produce required architectural diagrams and proposals

 Accountable for producing integrations documentation and diagrams that meet the clients standards

 Engage positively with other teams and lead resolving problems across interconnected platforms

 Working with business partners to gather requirements for enhancements to existing integrations and delivery of new integrations as approved as part of the program scope

 Responsible for migrating changes into Production

 Develop cutover plan for integrations and minimise interruption to existing integrations and users on Workday


Skill Requirements:

 Strong Workday integrations development and support experience

 Experience of creating/supporting Workday integrations of multiple types: Core connectors, RaaS, EIBs, Studio, BIRT

 Good working knowledge of web service technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, HTTP, SSL, PGP, SAML, etc)

 Proficiency with XML, XPath and XSLT

 Understanding of HCM/Financials functionality and Workday integration best practices

 Any knowledge of Informatica or similar platform would be an advantage

 Ability to understand business requirements and turn into clear deliverables

 Excellent technical understanding of SAAS platforms including integrations, security standards and data

 Managing shared deliverables with an SI partner

 Strong ability to work with other platform/product teams to achieve your goals

 Delivery and customer focused, with high energy and drive

 Strong risk awareness skills and management of risk

 Creative solutioning and strong problem-solving skills with agility for fast and simple solutions

 Credibility, professionalism, and strong personal integrity
