Our central government client is looking for an Oracle Specialist/Principle DevOps. The existing programme has been built using Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle Cloud. This role focuses on the functional areas both from a business and technical point of view. Possible requirement for out-of-hours support. You will work to our technical standards writing clean, secure code following a test-driven approach, ensuring the code is open as far as possible and can be re-used.


Your main day to day responsibilities will be:

• Function as Lead and manage resources in either HCM (HR, Payroll and Talent) or Finance & Procurement (GL, O2C and P2P) or CX (Knowledge, Web Portal, Contact Centre, Customer Service and Intelligent Advisor)

• Provide subject matter expertise.

• Manage and participate in daily stand-up.

• Manage daily L2 and L3 incident management calls and allocate work.

• Review incident management systems and provide reporting.

• Work with third parties.

• Support path to live release management and deployment.


Essential Skills

You'll be a principal consultant with experience managing team and a subject matter expert in at least one of the following areas:


Finance & Procurement

• Record2Report

  • Functional knowledge in Oracle Cloud Solutions, Finance (R2R) General Ledger (GL) Fixed Assets (FA) and Intercompany (IC)
  • Configuration of General Ledger, Fixed Assets and Intercompany
  • Configuration of OOTB reporting tools OTBI, FRC and knowledge of standard reports
  • Process knowledge of GL, FA and IC


• Order2Cash

  • Functional knowledge in Oracle Cloud Solutions, Finance (O2C) Accounts Receivable (AR), Advanced Collections (AC) and Cash Management (CM)
  • Configuration of Accounts Receivable, Advanced Collections and Cash Management
  • Configuration of OOTB reporting tools OTBI, FRC and knowledge of standard reports
  • Process knowledge of AR, AC and CM


• Procure2Pay

  • Functional knowledge in Oracle Cloud Solutions, Finance (P2P) Self Service Procurement, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Scanning and Expenses.
  • Configuration of Self-Service Procurement (SSP), Procurement (Proc), Accounts Payable (AP) and Expenses (iE)
  • Experience of integrating and configuring Oracle Scanning solutions Webcentre imaging and scanning
  • Configuration of OOTB reporting tools OTBI, FRC and knowledge of standard reports
  • Process knowledge of SSP, Proc, AP and Expenses


HCM

• Core HR

  • Functional knowledge in Oracle Cloud Solutions, HCM (H2R) Core HR and SelfService HR
  • Configuration of Core HR and Self-Service HR (SSHR), including Approval workflow and role-based access control
  • Configuration of OOTB reporting tools OTBI, FRC and knowledge of standard reports
  • Knowledge of HCM Design studio, Alerts composer, lookups, and administrator profile values to troubleshoot any issues.
  • Process knowledge of Core HR and Self-Service HR


• Payroll

  • Functional knowledge in Oracle Cloud Solutions, HCM (H2R) Payroll, Absence, Time & labour and Compensation
  • Configuration Payroll, Absence, Time & Labour (T&L) and Compensation
  • Configuration of OOTB reporting tools OTBI, FRC and knowledge of standard reports
  • Process knowledge of Payroll, T&L, Absence and Compensation


• Talent & Learning

  • Functional Knowledge in Oracle Cloud Solutions, HCM (H2R) Goals and Performance, Talent Cloud and Learning Management
  • Configuration Goals & Performance, Talent Cloud and Learning Management
  • Configuration of OOTB reporting tools OTBI, FRC and knowledge of standard reports
  • Process knowledge of Payroll, T&L, Absence and Compensation


• HCM

  • Functional and technical knowledge in Oracle Cloud Solutions, HCM Payroll Technical (Fast formula)
  • Configuration of HCM Payroll (Fast formulas)
  • Configuration of OOTB reporting tools OTBI, FRC and knowledge of standard reports
  • Technical knowledge of Payroll


CX

• Functional Knowledge in Oracle Cloud Solutions, Customer Service Cloud (CX)

• Configuration of Oracle RightNow modules, Enterprise Contact Centre, Policy Automation and Collaboration

• Configuration of OOTB reporting tools OTBI, FRC and knowledge of standard reports

• Process knowledge of web centre, knowledge, contact centre and customer service.


Core Skills

• Preparation of functional specs for integration and reports

• Experience of Level 2 and 3 support.

• Change management and enhancement deployment from test to production.
