In this role, you will be focusing on:

  • Revenue Generation: The primary objective is to generate revenue through the sale of events, sponsorships, seats, tables etc. The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating leads, and closing deals to meet or exceed sales targets. Collaborating with senior management to set sales targets and develop actionable plans to achieve them. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and lead generation is also an important part of this role.
  • Negotiating contracts and agreements with clients to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Planning: The Senior Sales Manager develops and executes a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the unique needs and preferences of the targeted audience. This involves analyzing market trends, identifying key market segments, and developing actionable plans to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients is essential to the success of the role. The Sales Manager serves as the primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and delivering exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Developing customized sales proposals and presentations to effectively communicate the value proposition to clients.
  • Market Insights and Innovation: Staying abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics is crucial for success. The Senior Sales Manager continuously monitors the market landscape, gathers actionable insights, and identifies opportunities for innovation to maintain a competitive edge and drive business growth.
  • Providing regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and actionable insights.


We are looking for someone who has:

  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Market and industry insights as well as a network of IT professionals and decision makers.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing and/or a combination of relevant experience and education.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales, with a focus on event sales or related industries.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • High understanding of figures and analytical capability.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
