Crest Nicholson has been building new homes for over 50 years and is firmly established as a leading developer with a passion for not just building homes, but creating vibrant sustainable communities.
Crest Nicholson's Midlands Division is looking for a multi-trades Customer Service Technician to carry out remedial works within dwellings, correcting faulty workmanship and replacing faulty materials and to ensure that all remedial works which the company has accepted to deal with are completed with minimal disruption and inconvenience to the customer. This is a site based role where you will be travelling from your home address to our development locations.
The Role
This is a customer facing role where a Customer Services Manager will raise requests of works for completion, and where you will be in charge of communicating directly with Crest Nicholson clients and managing the appointment process, agreeing when works will commence and be completed within set timescales.
It is the responsibility of the Customer Service Technician to ensure materials are available and to hand when completing the works, and that the remedial work is completed in accordance to our quality standards.
Examples of your work will include:
- Painting
- Mastic Replacement
- Wall Tiling
- Carpentry work such as easing doors, creaking floors etc.
- Paving slab adjustment
- Plaster repairs
- Kitchen unit adjustments
When completing and undertaking work you will provide the Customer Service Manager with regular progress reports and keep him/her aware of any problems arising from works undertaken. You will also keep a log of reoccurring issues, highlighting any products or materials which are substandard, to prevent further use and limiting continuous problems.
All work shall be carried out in accordance with our Health and Safety policies, as well as our quality procedures. We expect all Crest employees to be well presented, and to keep tools and equipment safe and in good order.
About You
We are looking for an ambitious individual with a keen eye for detail. You will be a skilled tradesman with experience in a similar role across property services and snagging. You will be open and friendly with customer service and quality at the centre of your work, as well as demonstrating excellent organisational skills and time management.
The Company

- Private healthcare and cash plan options
- 28 days' annual leave
- Cycle to work scheme
