The Midlands Division of Crest Nicholson is in search of a versatile Customer Service Technician to perform remedial tasks within residential properties, addressing substandard workmanship and replacing defective materials. This role is essential in ensuring that all accepted remedial tasks are executed with minimal disruption to the homeowner.
Key Responsibilities
This position involves direct interaction with clients, where you will receive work requests from a Customer Services Manager. You will be responsible for liaising with Crest Nicholson clients, managing the scheduling of appointments, and ensuring that all tasks are completed within agreed timelines.
Your duties will include ensuring that necessary materials are on hand during the execution of work, and that all remedial tasks meet our high-quality standards.
Typical tasks may involve:
- Painting and decorating
- Replacing mastic seals
- Wall tiling
- Carpentry tasks such as adjusting doors and fixing creaky floors
- Adjusting paving slabs
- Repairing plasterwork
- Making adjustments to kitchen units
As you carry out your duties, you will provide regular updates to the Customer Service Manager regarding progress and any issues that arise. You will also maintain a record of recurring problems, identifying any substandard products or materials to prevent future issues.
All tasks must be performed in compliance with our Health and Safety regulations and quality procedures. We expect all employees to present themselves professionally and to maintain tools and equipment in safe, good condition.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a motivated individual with a strong attention to detail. You should possess trade skills and experience in a similar capacity within property services and snagging. A friendly demeanor with a focus on customer service and quality is essential, along with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
