Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Trusts and Statutory Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in overseeing trust operations and statutory compliance.


Responsibilities


  • Trust Management: Lead and manage the administration of trusts, ensuring compliance with relevant legal frameworks and policies.
  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure all statutory obligations are met. This includes preparing statutory accounts, managing audit processes, and liaising with regulatory bodies.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor and report on the financial performance of the trusts. This includes budgeting, forecasting, and implementing financial strategies to optimise returns.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance trust operations and statutory compliance. Stay abreast of legislative changes and ensure practices are updated accordingly.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including beneficiaries, trustees, legal advisors, and regulatory authorities. Provide clear and timely communication to all parties involved.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for professional growth. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with trust and statutory operations. Implement robust controls and ensure regular reviews are conducted.


Requirements


  • A relevant degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced qualifications or professional certifications are highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in managing trusts and statutory compliance, with a proven track record of success. Previous leadership roles in a similar capacity are essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of trust law, financial management, and statutory requirements. Familiarity with relevant software and tools for trust administration and compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail. Capable of interpreting complex legal and financial information to make informed decisions.
