Associate Director, Trusts and Foundations

We are seeking an experienced and successful fundraising professional to join our Development Team as Associate Director, Trusts and Foundations on a 12-month fixed term maternity cover contract. You will have built up significant experience in fundraising from Trusts and Foundations, with a proven track record in securing six or seven figure gifts, and a demonstrable record of meeting challenging fundraising targets. You will have experience of line-management, and the ability to lead a team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver Kew’s Trusts and Foundations fundraising strategy, leading a team to raise significant funding for its fundraising campaign, working closely with counterparts in Major Gifts, Individual Giving, and Corporate Partnerships, to significantly grow philanthropic income for Kew.
A strategic and motivated fundraiser, you will have experience of strategic planning, managing a portfolio of Trusts and Foundations, developing creative and compelling funding proposals and building strong relationships with funders.
Our ideal candidate will have a passion for charity fundraising and an enthusiasm for Kew’s role as a global conservation organisation.
This role is based at Kew with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.
In-person interviews will be held Wednesday 4th September at Kew Gardens (virtual interviews can also be arranged if in-person is not possible).
