About the Role

In this role you will work with Trusts, Foundations and institutional donors to assist with maintaining, developing and increasing support from these donors; playing a key role in supporting the Philanthropy and Partnerships team to reach our ambitious targets to deliver our life saving work. Working closely with the wider team, you will develop your skills and ability to research trusts’ priorities and match these to priority areas of St John Ambulances work; as well as making funding applications and managing a portfolio of trusts.

This role sits within the Philanthropy and Partnerships Team (P&P), comprising trusts and statutory, philanthropy and corporate.

About You

You’ll be an enthusiastic team player and interested to build your skills and experience of working with trust and foundations donors. You should have previous experience of working for a charity as well as good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to write persuasively.
