Our rapidly growing Client is seeking a highly qualified Finance Manager to join their team in Cambridge. The ideal candidate will be Qualified in ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent, and possess several years of relevant experience. Comprehensive training will be provided. Candidate who are not qualified but have strong QBE experience will be considered.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for a wide range of financial duties, including but not limited to:

  • Providing financial insights and analysis to guide business decisions
  • Analysing competitors, market trends, and identifying opportunities
  • Conducting cost evaluations to identify areas for optimisation
  • Collaborating with auditors on financial monitoring and reporting
  • Cultivating relationships with key external partners like auditors, lawyers, bankers, and regulatory bodies
  • Producing accurate and timely financial reports
  • Preparing and managing organisational budgets
  • Supervising and leading the accounts team
  • Collecting and analysing performance metrics against benchmarks
  • Preparing monthly management accounts and journal entries
  • Generating sales statistics reports
  • Maintaining professional expertise through ongoing education
  • Processing statutory deductions like child support and payroll taxes
  • Preparing quarterly VAT returns for HMRC submission

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Qualified in ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent - Candidates with strong QBE experience will be considered
  • Management experience would be ideal but supervisory experience will be considered
  • A can-do attitude
  • Driven approach and ambitious
  • Attention to detail
  • Passionate about process efficiency's
