Join the world of premium Danish liquorice with Lakrids by Bülow. We are looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Executive to join our Wholesale team in the UK. As part of a rapidly expanding brand, you will play a key role in growing our presence, focusing on securing partnerships with gourmet stores, delis, farm shops, garden centres, wine shops, and other niche retailers.

Founded in 2007 by Johan Bülow on the Danish Island of Bornholm, we continue our journey of creating surprising combinations and sensory experiences with liquorice at the core. The ambition remains the same: To inspire people around the world and spread the love for this unique Nordic flavour.
With the mission to make the world love liquorice - one liquorice at a time, LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW has its own stores in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as retail partners in more than 40 markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, target, and secure new wholesale accounts, starting in London and expanding nationwide.
- Build strong, long-lasting relationships with smaller retailers, ensuring they become ambassadors of the Lakrids by Bülow brand.
- Develop and execute sales strategies that align with business objectives.
- Manage multiple accounts, handling everything from initial outreach to ongoing support.
- Work closely with the Country Manager to maximize growth opportunities.
- Regular travel to meet potential clients and partners in person.
About You:
- A “hunter” mentality – energetic, persistent, and excited by winning new business.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills – you’re charming, approachable, and can quickly build rapport.
- Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and accounts simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel regularly within London and beyond (drivers license required).
- Passionate about premium, luxury products and able to convey this enthusiasm to clients.
