Skills Coach – HR

Salary: Up to £40,000 + £400 per month travel allowance

Location: Hybrid - London - Mainly remote

Are you an inspiring and motivational mentor with a passion for guiding learners to reach their potential in Human Resources qualifications? We are looking for a passionate, curious, and motivating professional to join our team as a Skills Coach. Share your HR expertise with engaged learners and make a meaningful impact on their careers.

You will have need to have coached an apprenticeship through the Level 5 CIPD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach and mentor learners towards the successful and timely achievement of their HR qualifications.
  • Develop and maintain strong, communicative relationships with learners and employers.
  • Provide a blend of academic and pastoral advice, guidance, and support, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Create individualised learning plans and set SMART targets for learners.
  • Utilise digital technologies to deliver interactive and engaging learning experiences.
  • Liaise with employers and external agencies to support learners' progress.
  • Meet deadlines and work independently to ensure the success of the learning programme.
  • Inspire and facilitate learning, ensuring active participation and positive outcomes for all learners.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Grade A-C GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent.
  • Level 5 CIPD Human Resources or L&D qualification.
  • Level 3 Award in Education & Training (or willingness to acquire).

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in developing individualised learning plans and SMART targets.
  • Experience in coaching to embed behavioural changes.
  • Proficiency in using digital technologies for learning delivery.
  • Experience in liaising with employers and external agencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide interactive and engaging training to adults.
  • Track record of meeting deadlines and working autonomously.
  • Experience in an accredited environment, industry, or practice.
  • Excellent workload, time, and resource management skills.
  • Strong ability to inspire and facilitate learning.
  • Ability to remain calm and polite under pressure.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes consistently.
  • Empathetic and respectful towards others, valuing individual customer relationships.
