Your Role:
Senior People & Culture Advisor
This exciting position allows you to support our People & Culture Team in delivering an exceptional experience to employees globally, from the UK to the USA, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Reporting directly to the Director of People & Culture, you’ll be pivotal in developing and enhancing our People Agenda.
Responsibilities:
- People Partnering & Employee Lifecycle:
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders, embedding our P&C strategy and values.
- Provide first-line support and escalate issues when necessary.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes, with continuous feedback and data-driven insights.
- Oversee performance reviews, salary reviews, and bonus schemes for client groups.
- Collaborate with the People & Culture Team for accurate payroll and champion relevant systems.
- Employee Relations:
- Manage an ER caseload, ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance.
- Coach and support people managers in effectively handling their teams.
- Keep employment relations trackers updated.
- People & Culture Projects:
- Participate in EDI, Wellbeing, and Sustainability projects and committees.
- Review and improve policies and procedures.
- Lead on analysing People & Culture data to enhance the employee experience.
- Present new ideas to improve our Employee Value Proposition and Employer Brand.
- Recruitment:
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Partner to attract and select top talent.
- Support end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring fairness and diversity.
- Promote our brand to become an employer of choice.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience as a Senior People & Culture Advisor or an experienced HR Advisor.
- Essential experience in a retail business environment.
- Strong skills in managing Employment Relations and coaching junior team members.
- Ability to create and improve processes and policies independently.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
- Strong relationship-building skills at all organisational levels.
- Knowledge of employment law and practices in the US, Hong Kong, or Singapore (desirable but not essential).
