As the Head of HR, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing HR initiatives with the business goals and values. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR, from organisational structure, employee life cycle management, employment law, creating and solidifying employee policy frameworks through to total rewards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and policies that align with the company’s mission, values and growth plans.
- Lead and manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment onboarding, training and development, performance management, and off boarding
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure they attract and retain top talent
- Create and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment that supports employee well-being and engagement
- Drive employee performance and development through effective coaching, career planning and talent management initiatives
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, professional development and knowledge sharing
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and maintain up to date knowledge of HR best practices
- Navigate and strengthen employee engagement and collaboration
- Collaborate with leadership to understand and address organizational challenges, providing strategic HR insights and recommendations.
You:
- Proven experience as an HR generalist or HR Manager in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment.
- Incredibly operational as well as strategic.
- Solid knowledge of UK employment laws and regulations, and experience ensuring compliance
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solutions- orientated mindset.
- CIPD Level 5 Qualified is desirable
