Talent Acquisition Lead, Financial Services

Working alongside the Reinsurance business of a growing multinational insurance firm, you will provide highly visible and effective end to end recruitment solutions to find the best talent.
The position is both delivery and strategy focused and is key to driving recruitment best practices and high-touch business partnering support. As such, a background in supporting front office clients is imperative to this role.
Role Responsibilities.
- Spearhead new TA initiatives, in partnership with the Group TA COE and HRD, around emerging talent, inclusive hiring practices, employer brand, onboarding, and others as they arise
- Drive recruitment best practice and high-touch business partnering support to embed and promote their enhanced recruitment model, demonstrating ROI continuously
- Work with senior stakeholders to build the TA team brand and encourage hiring managers to engage with the in-house TA team at all levels
- Diagnose talent acquisition performance to build strategic and innovative recruiting plans that deliver on required hiring needs
- Partner with leadership teams to understand staffing needs and priorities to develop both short-term and long-term recruiting strategies
- Proactively build talent pipelines in line with hiring need and capability requirements
- Collaborate with the HR team to review and refine the hiring processes to build a more consistent and scalable talent acquisition model for the reinsurance business
- Be an employer brand ambassador for the group, delivering a first-class candidate experience at all stages of the recruitment process for mid to senior level hires
- Be an active contributor and influencer in the recruitment process, providing best practice advice to hiring managers, advising on appropriate selection methods, leading interviews and influencing decisions to ensure an inclusive hiring process
- Management and support of a TA Associate
- Lead on strategic Talent Acquisition initiatives, working with other CoE’s & HRBP’s, which align to the wider integrated HR Plan built to drive business growth and a high performance culture.
- Utilise recruiting metrics and analytics to provide insights that support strategic decision making and improve the talent acquisition experience/process
Key requirements
- Experience of partnering front office stakeholders
- End to end recruitment delivery for mid to senior level hires
- Management experience is desirable but strong collaboration and teamworking skills is essential
- Track record of implementing new hiring processes and procedures, ensuring a high-touch hiring manager and candidate experience
- Ability to think strategically beyond the daily requirements i.e. support the HR Director and Group Head of Talent Acquisition on delivery of strategic initiatives and projects
- Be an enthusiastic and collaborative team player with a strong drive and ambition to create a positive work environment and to deliver results
- A demonstrable ability to manage various stakeholder groups and shifting priorities
- Outstanding communication and influencing skills
- Strong analytical skill set and the ability to confidently present ideas
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, being able to generate a quality pipeline of candidates under tight time constraints
- Experience of working in a matrix environment is desirable
- Be able to adapt your style, think on your feet and have a can-do mentality
- Ability to provide exceptional candidate experiences throughout the entire hiring process
