Business Development Manager

We are looking for someone to join who is ready to transition from their desk based sales role into a regional Business Development Manager or a currently established Business Development Manager who wants to push their career growth and commission further. The product range and training will help you win business and succeed quickly.
As a Business Development Manager you will be working remotely, but required to be meeting customers face to face to win and secure new orders. You will mainly be selling to installers, wholesalers and distributors of network hardware.
They are a rapidly growing business in the tech sector. You will join at an exciting time in the businesses journey of growth and expansion. As the business grows, so will your development and career with further opportunities to move up with the business.
The region coverage will be Midlands and the North and the ideal candidate will live within this patch.
Responsibilities & day to day duties
- As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Self-generating your sales pipeline and lead generation to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Win new business and growing your existing client base.
- The role is on the road and meeting customers face to face, this will take up 75% of your week.
- Creating solutions with your product knowledge to make tailored solutions for the client.
- Working with a variety of customers from installers, technicians and businesses.
- Understand technical specifications and sell these products to an existing and new customer base.
Skills & experience required
- A proven track record selling B2B, winning business as well as managing existing accounts.
- Build strong relationships your customers and close deals.
- Confidence to approach business cold to sell your solutions.
- Ability to be personable, accountable and a problem solver.
- You will need to have a proactive approach to your work.
