THE ROLE

1 years’ experience in a similar role, placement or office environment is preferred but not essential. The role will report to the Senior Event Operations Manager and assist with the smooth running and successful management of all events from planning to execution. Start date: August 2024.


KEY RESPONSIBILTIES


Operational Support

  • Liaise with event sponsors and speakers to request event deliverables
  • Assist onsite at events when required
  • Update CRM database with sponsor and speaker contacts
  • Management of key event tasks including badging, data management, post-event videos, event app
  • Coordination of in-house printed signage
  • Procurement and management of basic onsite event supplies
  • Research key event suppliers
  • Creation of pre-event speaker and sponsor packs and forms
  • Adding agenda, speakers and sponsors to relevant website and updating as required
  • App: setting up and managing event apps; graphics, agenda creation and updates

Speaker Liaison

  • Manage speaker and agenda website updates
  • Proofing speaker database and agenda
  • Send speaker packs and assist with questions about travel and logistics
  • Creation of Chair packs and event holding slides

  • High level of PC literacy is required (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • IOSH qualified is a bonus but not essential
