NHS Capital Equipment Senior Sales Specialist - Scotland

Renown for being market leaders in hospital settings in a surgical and diagnostics function, this position will work seamlessly across multiple functions involving capital equipment and the value based approach that comes with the service contracts.


The Opportunity


We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented professional to join our team as a Capital Equipment Service Contract Specialist. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth for our service contract portfolio by securing new contracts with healthcare providers.


Responsibilities


  • Take over a high performing region with high revenue responsibility
  • Leverage your strong sales acumen and industry knowledge to negotiate and close service contract deals for our capital equipment.
  • Develop compelling value propositions and data-driven proposals to demonstrate the long-term benefits of our service contracts to healthcare facilities.
  • Partner with customers to understand their specific needs and tailor solutions that align with their strategic priorities.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across healthcare facilities, including clinical teams.
  • Conduct regular service contract review meetings to showcase the value proposition of our service offerings.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for our service division, both internally and externally.


Qualifications


  • Minimum 3 years of successful experience in a field sales role, ideally within the healthcare industry or a related technical equipment sector.
  • Must be experienced in Capital Equipment sales OR service contracts for capital equipment within the NHS
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • In-depth understanding of value-based selling methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data to build compelling business cases.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
