London, UK, United Kingdom RwHealth Full time

Who we are:

Real World Health (RWH) is a technology company that specialises in being a strategic partner to the NHS, other Healthcare organisations, Life Sciences organisations and Pharmaceutical companies.

We do data. Lots of it. We analyse and process it, with the primary objective of improving patient outcomes and optimising the efficient delivery of healthcare services, supporting the identification of insights, ways of working and new scientific discoveries that can lead to real world change.

We develop software solutions using conventional coding, AI and Machine Learning techniques. Alongside this we provide a range of support services to help get the best out of our tools as well as consultancy and transformation services to help identify and implement change programmes or complement in-house teams.

We are all about the long game. We highly value long-term client relationships and seek to be genuine partners that always deliver value, transfer knowledge to inhouse resources and make a consistently positive difference to our clients.

Role Description:

Overview:

At Real World Health, we know that the key to growth is a high-performing sales team. That’s why we’re seeking a business development representative (BDR) to find and screen potential customers who could benefit from our products and services. As the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal BDR has a strong understanding of the sales process and excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up sales closers for success.

The BDR should be a quick learner who has strong communication skills, tenacity and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. You will also need to be confident on the phone (you will spend a lot of time on it) and well versed in scripting compelling emails.

Every potential customer is an opportunity for boosting top-line revenue growth and making a difference to peoples health and wellbeing.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is going through growth whilst operating in highly skilled, lean, agile and innovative teams.

You should have a passion for healthcare and learning more about things like Mental health, Physical health, Life sciences and more.

Role Purpose:

  • Represent the company’s products and services, using comprehensive knowledge as well as consumer research to understand and explain how our solutions meet customer needs.
  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage in next steps
  • Identify best practices for refining the company’s lead-generation playbook

Main responsibilities:

  • Utilise our CRM, cold calls, email and networking to generate new sales opportunities across various sectors.
  • Identify and research leads to be qualified for reach out.
  • Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities.
  • Assist with preparation of proposal decks and material as and when needed.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities.
  • Support the BD team with daily sales activities.
  • Support with maintaining hygiene of the pipeline and CRM system.
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and the BDM and wider team.
  • Report to the BDM with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results.
  • Occasionally assist with events where a customer relationship or BD function is required to be present.

Key Skills Required:

·Action-orientated and results focused – a clear self-starter who is comfortable taken high-level direction, converting into an action plan, incorporating key milestones to measure and present progress, and ensure best chance of successful completion.

·Proactivity and entrepreneurialism – besides our initial client brief, there are often numerous additional opportunities for improvement within client organisations. Post-holders will be expected to help identify and propose solutions to these issues by developing hypotheses and evidence to support them.

·Healthcare understanding – able and keen to develop an understanding of NHS business goals and turn these into performance measures and pathway insights generation.

·Communication and presentation – ability to explain complex and intricate insights to both a technical and non-technical audience, in written, visual and oral form.

·Project management – excellent organisational skills and approach to working on multiple projects will be required to support the post holder in managing multiple priorities.

·Independence of thought – RWH operates with small, expert teams and applicants will be empowered to work with a high-degree of autonomy and initiative.

·Analytical and numerical ability – comfortable analysing, interpreting, and contextualising data, and understanding complex processes. Evidence of analytical ability is most important. Ability to deploy problem-solving skills to work with stakeholders to define requirements for analytical work. Capable in understanding summary statistics and data visualisation approaches.

Personal Qualities:

·Strong sense of tenacity – You will require a strong sense of tenacity for this role and need to be able to stay motivated without giving up. You will need to be able to face rejection with a smile and influence decisions rather than dictate them.

·Fast learning – the NHS and the healthcare sector overall is highly diverse and candidates will be required to rapidly comprehend new environments.

·Confident and personable – fundamental to our approach is the ability to communicate effectively and engage with stakeholders throughout client and partner organisations, to drive change and develop long lasting partnerships.

·A focus on delivering value – the clients that we work with often rely on us to provide critical guidance that directly affects the lives of real people. All the support we provide puts patients and clients first, and successful candidates will need to share this mentality.

·Analytical mindset - This role would suit someone looking to work in a fast growing, dynamic environment and someone who enjoys a diverse workload. Healthcare experience is beneficial but not essential, but analytical ability and a focus on delivering value to clients is imperative.

·Desire to Continuously Learn - This role offers significant opportunity to learn, develop and succeed in the field of healthcare data and consultancy, while growing with the organisation and contributing significantly to shaping the future of healthcare. Applicants will need the personal desire to learn and develop these skills.

·Team over ego – You will continuously strive to work towards the best possible outcome for the team whilst also being comfortable working on your own. It is essential that you are able to identify when to take control and when to ask for help.

*We would love to respond to each and every application we receive. Unfortunately due to high volume this is not always possible.
