MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a Leading Party/Gifting company, on the search for a National Account Manager. This is a permanent role based in Cheshire.


As the National Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with national retail accounts, driving sales growth, and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and develop key national accounts within the grocery and discount sectors.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within the accounts.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's presence within the grocery and discount retail channels.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth areas.
  • Present new products and promotional activities to key accounts, ensuring alignment with their business needs.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reporting on account performance and market conditions.
  • Work closely with the marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution of account strategies.


What are we looking for?


  • Minimum of 5 years in a National Account Manager role within the gifting, party supplies, or Toy.
  • Proven track record in managing and developing key accounts, specifically within the grocery and discount retail sectors.
  • Strong sales acumen with excellent negotiation skills, capable of closing deals and driving revenue growth.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in analysing market trends and data to inform strategic decisions and identify new business opportunities.
