Research and Knowledge Exchange Development Officer

We have an exciting new opportunity for a professional seeking to start a Research & Knowledge Exchange Development Officer role.


Our client is a well-established global university.


What’s in it for you:

  • Contributing to the development and delivery of research and knowledge exchange training and events.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities for funding and matching these to research expertise within the universities community.
  • Preparing contracts and agreements using standard terms and model templates, escalating complex contractual issues to the Research Contracts Manager.
  • Utilising and ensuring data integrity of the Research Management System, (Worktribe) for proposal development and costing, train researchers in its use, and contribute constructively to process improvements.


Requirements:

Must have the following experience:

- High level of numeracy and IT skills, with the ability to construct budgets using Excel and/or other research project costing tools.

- Ability to develop and implement systems and procedures to meet agreed priorities; to take a proactive, creative and flexible approach to problem solving.

- Evidence of monitoring compliance with policies and procedures (for example in relation to risk assessment, contracts, and ethics).


  • Salary - £250 to £350 per day
  • Fully Remote Role, immediate start
  • Ongoing Interim Role, potential for progression
