We are looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant who is keen to develop within our established Finance team as the business continues to grow. You will be a key member of the Finance Team, being involved in all aspects of the Finance Department including purchase ledger, weekly payroll, cashbook and sales ledger. The role also includes some of the month end accounts processes and is a great role allowing for progression and development.


Key Role Responsibilities

  • Process hourly paid payroll – Sage 50.
  • All aspects of purchase ledger.
  • Processing of employee expenses and mileage claims.
  • Cash book postings and bank reconciliations.
  • Month end stock valuation.
  • Maintenance of fixed asset additions.
  • Support the Financial Controller, Finance Director, and wider business with other queries, reporting ad-hoc tasks and projects as required, to drive change and improvements.
  • Support the Finance team with other departmental tasks or projects that are within your capability, providing holiday cover where necessary.
