As our next SAM & FinOps Sales Lead, you will be serving as a sales overlay professional, acting as a crucial conduit between sales and delivery teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment. You will be integral to building the SAM & FinOps strategy for Crayon in the UK, liaising internally to leverage expertise, share best practices, and provide updates on business performance. Acting as the subject matter expert for SAM & FinOps in the UK, you will be collaborating with Alliances, Marketing, and Generalist Sales to drive SAM & FinOps service initiatives.


Other responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying new opportunities and expanding existing customer engagements
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, using core tools and targeted account lists to engage prioritized customers
  • Acting as the trusted advisor, owning technical discussions, tailoring messages, and demonstrating Crayon's unique value
  • Guiding customers through decision-making and bringing innovative ideas to showcase our value proposition
  • Leading presentations and demonstrations, proving Crayon’s capabilities, and enabling greater business success for customers


Your Competencies:

  • 5+ years' experience in selling SAM & FinOps solutions and related services, with a specialist background from a service provider
  • Practical experience with Cloud transformations, Cloud Governance, optimizations and security
  • Understanding the technical aspects of a proposal and being able to compile the complete commercial and technical proposal
  • Ability to translate business objectives into technical requirements

  • Comfortable engaging with C-level decision-makers
  • Customer-centric, with excellent negotiation skills and an ability to understand stakeholder needs, manage risks, and deliver effective solutions
  • Ability to translate business challenges to Cloud solutions and services
