London, UK, United Kingdom pass by Full time

Who is pass_by?

pass_by delivers actionable and verifiable insights into any store’s performance. We help retailers, in the US market, gain powerful insights into consumer retail behavior. All powered and enhanced by AI.

What we are looking for

pass_by has a set of close channel partners who we work with to help drive new business. The Channel Sales Manager will play a critical role in managing and expanding our relationships with these partners and helping find new strategic partnerships. The primary KPI for this role will be revenue generation from these partnerships.

This individual will be responsible for supporting the sales process, ensuring our solutions are prominently featured in our partners' customer conversations, and helping to remove any obstacles (commercial or technical) which stand in the way of helping our channel partners effectively promote and sell pass_by’s data solutions.

The ideal person for this role will be a naturally sales-oriented person with the ability to quickly comprehend and effectively communicate our data solutions, and have the interpersonal skills required to manage business relationships between multiple stakeholders.

This position will report to the Chief Revenue Officer, while working closely with customer success, sales, marketing, product and data teams both internally and externally.

What would you be doing?

  • Channel Sales: Helping our channel partners sales and customer success teams initiate and close deals, presenting and pitching our solution when needed, and helping remove any friction. The primary aim here is to work collaboratively with partners to close deals and drive revenue growth, while simultaneously working to foster and strengthen these partnerships for mutual long-term success.
  • Training & Enablement: Provide ongoing training and support to channel partners to enhance their understanding of our product. Create and maintain resources that aid partners in effectively selling our solution. Proactively work to make sure our partners are successful with helping promote and sell our solutions.
  • Reporting & Feedback: Track performance metrics and report back on how our channel partnerships are helping the company meet revenue objectives. Gather feedback from partners and relay insights to internal teams to refine our product and proposition.
  • Find new strategic partnerships: Increase our roster of strategic channel partners that help meet our strategic goals. This will include sourcing, onboarding and managing these relationships.

Who we’re looking for

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience: Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and closing deals in a SaaS environment. Experience working with retailers is strongly desirable. Experience in channel sales and partnership management is preferred. A good understanding of the industry is essential. Experience within the industry, although not essential, would benefit this role.
  • Sales Skills: Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and manage complex sales processes.
  • Technical Aptitude: The ability to quickly gain a strong understanding of our data solutions and the ability to effectively communicate technical details to partners and prospects. Previous experience working with data solutions in a SaaS environment is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present and pitch to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address and resolve any friction in collaboration with internal and external commercial, product and data teams.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners. Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.

pass_by’s channel partners and target customers are all US based; so someone who has experience working with the US market is desired, and someone able to adapt their schedule to accommodate US schedules is a must.

pass_by is a London based company, and someone based in London is preferred. We’re also able to hire US based candidates on a consultancy basis.

What we offer

  • The opportunity to manage a strategically critical role for the company;
  • A competitive base salary, uncapped commission and the ability to join our option-pool;
  • Remote first working with access to co-working spaces;
  • A range of employee benefits and perks (e.g. Apple equipment, flexible working hours and annual company retreat abroad).
