About the Relationship Manager Role:

The company are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Relationship Manager to originate profitable new business in the Midlands or Southeast England regions. This role involves taking ownership of deals, managing the entire client journey from application to loan redemption, and providing exceptional customer service.


Relationship Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within bridging finance, development finance, and other real estate-backed finance sectors.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with brokers, property developers, investors, and other stakeholders
  • Actively participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote services and brand.
  • Assess lending proposals, write credit papers, and maintain a strong understanding of the deal progress.
  • Participate in training sessions, including shadowing and legal training, to enhance knowledge and skills.


Relationship Manager Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in business development or sales, particularly in bridging finance, development finance, or a similar sector. A background in commercial banking or specialist lending is ideal.
  • Proven track record of building strong relationships and managing a portfolio of clients.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and credit assessment skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple cases, and meet demanding targets.
  • Proactive, results-driven, and customer-centric approach.


Relationship Manager package

  • Salary: £50,000 + Car Allowance + Commission
  • Comprehensive training and support, including shadowing experienced team members and legal training.
