YOU ARE...

An experienced, hands on manager in travel operations that is keen to work with our teams in Cape Town, East Africa, Himalayas, Peru etc. You absolutely love traveling, exploring, working with different cultures and you’re a great leader and people’s manager. You are highly responsible, reliable and a problem solver – with a sense of urgency. You are hands on and proficient with contracting, trip development and DMC set up, and have a proven record in leadership roles, preferably as a senior operations manager in a travel/DMC company.

REQUIRED…

  • All-rounded proficiency in every aspect of travel operations (contracting, trip development, DMC sourcing / set up & partnerships management etc.)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and keen to work in a small team of an early stage company
  • Keen to travel for work and spend prolonged time in our destination countries
  • At least 5 years experience in adventure travel operations roles
  • Proven leadership skills and experience
  • Numbers and KPI-driven
  • Very hands on, especially in the beginning
  • Growth mindset and self-driven, high energy
  • Problem solver with a sense of urgency
  • Great attention to detail
  • Passion for customer service & operational excellence
  • Very important: STRESS RESISTANT
