Salary: £30k base salary + commission

About Us:
Unlocking Language provides independent speech and language therapy services to children including adolescents.
Unlocking Languages guide children, including teens, through their communication journeys. They have a team of experts who not only possess advanced training in various proven techniques but also have the essential clearances and affiliations with renowned professional bodies like the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
The team are dedicated to supporting children’s communication development. With bespoke approaches and expertise, they understand and address each child’s unique speech and language communication needs.
Role Overview:
They are looking for dynamic and motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their growing team and contribute to their mission of making a positive impact on the lives of others.
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Unlocking Languages, you will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities and driving growth for our speech therapy services. You will engage with potential clients, healthcare providers, schools, and other organizations to build relationships, generate leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a passion for helping others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach.
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, educational institutions, and potential clients in need of speech therapy services.
- Qualify inbound leads and follow up on referrals.
- Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the therapy team.
- Collaborate with the marketing teams to develop effective outreach strategies.
- Track and manage leads using CRM software to ensure accurate reporting and follow-up.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities.
- Help raise awareness about our speech therapy services and the positive impact they can have on individuals’ lives.
Requirements:
- Have a desire to work within sales and help drive business revenue and growth
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport quickly, have empathy and establish trust with clients.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated and goal orientated.
- Knowledge or interest in the speech therapy field is a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
