Position: Business Development Representative (BDR)

Overview:

GTM Talent is recruiting on behalf of a high-growth fintech unicorn, hiring multiple Business Development Representatives for its London team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong understanding of the challenges faced by accounting and finance professionals and how the company’s SaaS solutions address these issues.
  • Proactively build and maintain robust prospecting lists through tools, inbound leads, referrals, and targeted research.
  • Meet or exceed daily/weekly activity targets, including outbound calls, emails, and social outreach to key decision-makers.
  • Conduct initial qualifying calls with prospective clients and schedule product demos for Account Executives.
  • Document all activities in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to maintain pipeline visibility and ensure effective communication across sales teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives, marketing, and sales leadership to optimise prospecting strategies and improve conversion rates.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum 1 year work experience and ideally 3+ in:
  • Sales (business development or closing role) selling to the finance function OR
  • Audit experience + ACA eligibility
  • Proven ability to learn new concepts quickly and apply coaching feedback.
  • Tenacious, driven, and results-oriented mindset with a self-starter attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to remain organised and execute effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative approach and a commitment to achieving group and individual success.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with cold calling or CRM systems such as Salesforce.
