About the role
As a Business Development team member, you will play a key role in identifying and securing new property listings for the platform in both Lettings and Sales.
You will be reporting directly to your line manager in the Business Development team. Success will be measured by your ability to source, onboard and maintain strategic supply relationships, including with large developers, BTR operators and estate agencies. Your earnings will be directly correlated to the business you bring to the company, putting your financial future in your own hands.
What you'll do
The primary responsibilities are:
- Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities through market research, networking, and calls/emails outreach.
- Identify and evaluate new property supply opportunities.
- Consistently reach out via multiple channels (including calls, emails, face-to-face meetings) to potential clients such as BTRs, managing agents and landlords to introduce Scraye’s services.
- Collaborate with the team to develop business strategies and goals.
- Track progress, analyse results, and provide regular updates on outreach and opportunities.
Who you are
We are principally looking for the below:
- Prior experience in the property market or a good understanding of the industry paired with experience in business development.
- Proactiveness and initiative in reaching out to potential new partners.
- Willingness to be out in the field meeting new clients on a consistent basis.
- Resilience in the face of rejection.
- Great verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to feedback.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
