Business Development Executive (Off Trade)
Are you passionate about the drinks industry and eager to make your mark in the fast-growing Non-Alc category?
Do you have experience in the Off-Trade sector and a knack for building strong relationships with key accounts?
Can you support a new to market product that is speculated to be a game changing disruptor in its category?
MacGregor Black is looking for a Business Development Executive to join a dynamic Non-Alcoholic Spirits Brand. This is a permanent role based in Central London.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities in the London Off Trade sector, focusing on key independent retailers and specialist outlets.
- Manage and nurture existing relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct trainings and tastings for consumers and retail staff at venues and events to drive brand awareness and engagement.
- Work with a specific branded product as well as the broader portfolio from the client's distributor, ensuring consistent and effective representation across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate with the brand’s sales and marketing teams to ensure sales strategies are aligned with overall brand objectives and promotions.
- Provide regular performance updates, sales reports, and insights to senior management.
What are we looking for?
- 2–3 years of experience in a Sales or Business Development role within the drinks industry, with a preference for experience in Off Trade.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to drive new business while managing key accounts.
- A passion for the drinks industry, with experience in cocktails, tastings, or direct-to-consumer engagements being a bonus.
- The ability to balance the demands of working with a specific brand alongside a broader portfolio from the distributor.
- Field-based experience, with the flexibility to work from a Central London office when needed.
Competitive salary up to £40k + benefits.
