**About the opportunity**
The overall purpose of the role is to support the National Tax and ABA Service Lines with the administration and co-ordination of its people training, learning and development. This will involve booking and arranging attendance at internal training courses,as well as providing additional administrative assistance.
- Being the go-to person centrally for any exam training queries for Tax and ABA students.
- Supporting trainees through the duration of their training contract, making sure all course/exam bookings are made (including CBEs), and that they feel fully supported ahead of their exams.
- Assisting with student onboarding procedures and liaising with the apprenticeship administrator/training providers to ensure each student is registered under the apprenticeship scheme.
- Maintaining a master student spreadsheet for all students in tax and ABA on the student training programme.
- Sharing communications from institutes and exam tuition providers with relevant students.
- Other ad-hoc duties as agreed with team.
- English grade A-C - GCSE or equivalent.
- Good time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with confident manner.
- MS Office skills, in particular Excel.
- Experience with learning management systems, in particular Cornerstone, is advantageous.
- An understanding of tax and/or accounting professional qualifications is desirable.
- An understanding of professional apprenticeships is desirable.
