**Purpose of the Role**

The Contract Administrator helps the Contracts Managers & Engineering Team keep everything organised and running smoothly. This role is office-based and focuses on supporting the day-to-day admin for commercial heating and electrical projects — keeping paperwork up to date, communicating with clients and suppliers, and making sure the right information gets to the right people.

**Main Duties**
- Set up and maintain project files and folders.
- Keep records of contracts, quotes, purchase orders, and variations.
- Track project progress and update spreadsheets and reports.
- Communicate with clients, engineers, and suppliers to share updates and chase missing information.
- Support the contracts team with general admin tasks.
- Check documents for accuracy before sending them out.
- Order materials and arrange deliveries when needed.

**Skills & Experience**

**Essential**:

- Previous experience in an office administrator or project support role.
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, JobLogic).
- Organised and able to handle several tasks at once.
- Good attention to detail.
- Clear and friendly communication skills, written and verbal.

**Desirable**:

- Experience in a construction, heating, or electrical business.
- Some understanding of how contracts and projects work.

- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Reliable, organised, and takes pride in doing things properly.
- Willing to learn and take on new tasks.
- Can work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
