Carlton le Willows are looking to appoint an Attendance Officer, to join our academy as soon as possible, on a full time, permanent basis.
Carlton le Willows Academy has an exciting opportunity for a committed and motivated individual to join a friendly team of support staff, all working together in the best interests of our young people. As an Attendance Officer you will provide a valuable service to students and their families, ensuring that all students attend school regularly and therefore gain maximum benefit from their education.
As part of the strong and committed attendance team you will help update daily attendance data, checking on student attendance in school and producing weekly statistics where necessary. Along with the team, you will work to reward and promote the value of good attendance among the student community.
**Your new role**
As Attendance Officer, you will be responsible for the administration of student attendance and lesson monitor, the production of attendance charts, statistics and evidence for penalty fines/court cases. You will provide general clerical support including typing/word processing, reprographics, filing, etc. of reports, letters, minutes of meetings etc. when required.
Hours: 37 hours per week / Term Time only plus 5 Days (39 Weeks) / Permanent

**Results**
With a consistent record of high academic attainment, Carlton le Willows remains one of the top performing schools in the area. In summer 2023 78% of pupils secured a Grade 4+ in English and Maths and 55% achieved this at grade 5+. Across the board 76% of pupils achieved grade 4+ in five or more GCSEs and our progress score was +0.2 placing us above similar schools nationally.
A level students in our high performing sixth form achieved a 100% pass rate in 2023, with the average A level grade a B minus, retaining our reputation for academic excellence post 16.
