E-COMMERCE & MARKETING ASSISTANT
The Ecommerce & Marketing Assistant
will support the day-to-day operations of our ecommerce platform and marketing department. This role is responsible for managing product uploads, handling customer enquiries, organising content production, maintaining the content library, coordinating press loans and sample tracking, and providing general administrative support. The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently across multiple tasks and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
E-commerce operations:
- Upload and maintain product listings using advanced Excel skills, ensuring accuracy across descriptions, images, and pricing. Optimise all product content for SEO and LLM discoverability. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the 3PL to ensure timely and accurate order and return processing. Merchandise category pages to enhance visual appeal, user experience, and commercial performance.
Customer Enquiries Management
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries via email, chat, phone, and the customer service portal. Manage enquiries relating to orders, returns, damages, stock availability, delivery updates, and made-to-order items. Deliver outstanding customer service that strengthens customer satisfaction and retention. Maintain and update customer service templates to ensure consistent brand tone of voice.
Photo Shoot Support
- Assist with the planning and execution of ecommerce and campaign photoshoots as needed. Maintain the digital content library, ensuring all assets are organised, correctly named, and stored in the appropriate folders and formats. Support sample management ensuring accurate documentation.
Press & Influencer Marketing Coordination
- Collaborate with the PR agency to manage and facilitate all press loan logistics, ensuring samples are tracked, dispatched, and returned efficiently. Monitor and respond to press enquiries via email, coordinating internally to provide accurate and timely information. Maintain relationships with approved influencers, supporting gifting campaigns from selection to fulfilment to ensure seamless execution and brand alignment. Ensure press and sample archive is organised and stored safely and correctly. Assist coordinating wholesale sample requests for client editorials and shoots.
Reporting, Trading & Analysis
- Support the merchandising strategy across all channels, offering insights or suggested actions based on performance. Conduct regular competitor and SWOT analysis to inform trading decisions. Assist with weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to track ecommerce and marketing KPIs.
Continuous Learning & Development
- Stay informed on product updates, ecommerce trends, digital marketing developments, and customer service best practices. Participate in training to improve skills in Excel, Shopify, Klaviyo, and third-party marketplaces. Stay updated with popular culture, industry talent and influencer trends.
Skils & Experience Required
- Proficiency in Excel and Adobe Suite (mandatory). Experience with Shopify (preferred). Experience in luxury, fashion, or a related premium sector (advantageous). Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Solutions driven and proactive.
