Job Summary

One of the leading Finance and Accounting Outsourcing companies is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to support growth across the UK market.

In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our client base, strengthening market presence, and driving revenue growth across accounting, bookkeeping, and FP&A outsourcing services. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in B2B sales, strategic planning, and relationship management within the UK professional services ecosystem, with a proven ability to convert prospects into long-term clients.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to execute growth strategies aligned with business objectives and represent the organisation at industry events across the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies focused on acquiring clients in the UK market.
  • Own and manage the complete prospecting and sales pipeline, from lead generation and qualification through proposal management, negotiation, and client conversion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with UK-based clients, partners, and key stakeholders, understanding their business needs and offering tailored outsourcing solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities within accounting, bookkeeping, tax, and FP&A outsourcing services.
  • Attend and represent the company at UK-based industry conferences, trade shows, networking forums, and client meetings to generate leads and build brand visibility.
  • Use CRM systems to manage sales activities, track opportunities, maintain accurate forecasts, and report performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop UK-focused value propositions, proposals, case studies, and sales collateral.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and contracts in line with UK business practices to secure profitable and sustainable partnerships.
  • Monitor UK market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activity to inform business development strategies.
  • Coordinate with delivery and operations teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and long-term account success.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in business development or B2B sales, preferably within accounting, finance, professional services, or outsourcing.
  • Demonstrated success in managing full sales cycles and closing mid-to-large value contracts in the UK market.
  • Strong understanding of UK client expectations, procurement processes, and relationship-driven sales approaches.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools and structured sales methodologies.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior-level stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK for conferences, networking events, and client meetings.
