Position overview

The Sales and Business Development Manager for London and the Home Counties will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, cultivating strategic relationships and creating new opportunities for our team of marketing and growth professionals. This position requires a commercially astute professional with proven experience in business development, stakeholder engagement and regional team leadership.

Operating remotely, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new clients, building a sustainable pipeline and converting opportunities into sales.

Key responsibilities

  • To sell Sabre Associates marketing and growth consultancy services to target audiences.
  • Identify, develop and convert new business to drive growth across the region.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline by maintaining strong relationships with prospects, key stakeholders, partners and clients.
  • Create referral channels through third party organisations
  • Provide leadership, direction and support to regional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Analyse regional performance metrics and implement strategies to optimise results and profitability.
  • Represent Sabre Associates at client meetings, industry events and networking forums to enhance brand presence and business visibility.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in sales or business development leadership role, ideally within a professional services or consultancy environment.
  • Ability to identify, pursue and convert sales.
  • Experience in building a strong pipeline.
  • Ability to set up referral channels and relationships.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a demonstrable track record in creating and securing new business opportunities.
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Comfortable operating autonomously in a remote-working environment while maintaining strong team engagement.
  • Willingness to travel within London and the Home Counties as required.
  • Desire to be part of a team who are looking to grow the company.

What We Offer

  • Commission-based with OTE of £60,000-£85,000. This will be reviewed after 6 months to move to salary plus commission if targets are met.
