The Delegate Sales Manager will be responsible for driving delegate sales for our premier biopharma conferences. You will play a pivotal role in achieving sales targets by identifying and engaging potential delegates, developing relationships with key decision-makers, and ensuring a smooth sales process from initial contact to event participation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a strong sales background in the events industry or biopharma. You will have the chance to work with a dynamic team and deliver outstanding experiences to key stakeholders in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Generation & Lead Development:

  1. Drive delegate sales for biopharma conferences through outbound sales activities, including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking.
  2. Identify and target key decision-makers in pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies, as well as other stakeholders in the biopharma ecosystem.
  3. Qualify and develop new sales leads, while nurturing existing leads into event attendees.

Relationship Building:

  1. Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives, researchers, and other key stakeholders in the biopharma industry.
  2. Effectively communicate the value proposition of attending our events, ensuring delegates understand the key benefits, including networking opportunities, industry insights, and cutting-edge content.

Sales Performance:

  1. Achieve and exceed individual delegate sales targets on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  2. Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track and manage sales activities, pipeline, and results.
  3. Regularly report on sales performance, including successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.

Event Coordination & Customer Support:

  1. Collaborate closely with the events operations and marketing teams to ensure smooth event execution and a high level of delegate satisfaction.
  2. Provide excellent customer service to delegates before, during, and after the event to ensure an outstanding experience.
  3. Address and resolve any delegate-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience, ideally in the events, biopharma, or healthcare industry.
  2. Track Record: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a B2B sales environment.
  3. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the biopharma sector and its key players, challenges, and trends.
  4. Sales Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence high-level decision-makers.
  5. CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) to manage leads, pipeline, and reporting.
  6. Self-Motivated: Highly driven and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Education: A bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field is preferred.
