We operate across multiple sectors, including defence, energy, and health.
We are looking for Project Support Officer to join our PMO team as we go through our next phase of growth.
The Role: As a Project Support Officer you would be sat in our PMO team, you will support the PMO co-ordinator and project managers to maintain and delivery of projects, internal change initiatives and undertake quality controls checks to ensure compliance across the company.
Main Responsibilities: Provide administrative support across the P3MO to provide end to end support in the delivery of Business Development and project management delivery activities.
Support the delivery of quality controls on projects predominantly within the Defence and non-defence environments.
Providing effective stakeholder management, communications management and monitoring and reporting on projects.
Support tasks and projects to be delivered to time, cost budgets and quality.
Supporting project teams with review of plans and proposals ensuring compliance with QMS.
Support information management across the company, including monitoring and reporting of trends, data and KPI performance.
Building new relationships and maintaining successful working relationships with staff, suppliers and customers.
Maintain productive working relationships with project teams Support the business development activities of the P3MO and wider company activities in line with business objectives.
To work simultaneously across multi projects and tasks To be flexible and adaptable and able to work with changing priorities, new areas of work and travel to different site locations when needed.
About You: The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following essential and desirable attributes: Demonstratable experience in a project support role.
Educated to degree level or equivalent with relevant professional qualification i.e.
project management.
Demonstratable experience of: maintaining and sustaining quality on projects supporting the delivery of projects successfully skills in stakeholder management, communications and supporting teams on projects.
Be able to adapt and provide flexibility in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
Good attention to detail Ability to provide effective administrative support to multiple projects simultaneously.
Have strong communication, presentation and written skills.
Be organised and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
Highly motivated professional who strives to deliver ahead of targets.
Competent user of IT/CRM systems including MS office and SharePoint.
Be a trusted self-motivated individual who can perform when working as part of a team or when acting independently with support from colleagues.
Be dependable, committed and have a genuine enthusiasm to contribute to the growth of a successful business.
Be able to travel to different sites across England.
Desirable Be a member of an appropriate professional body (such as APM, PMI) and have a desire for further professional development.
Have experience of working in a consultancy environment.
Other Requirements: Candidates must have an existing right to live and work in the UK.
Candidates must be willing to undergo an internal baseline personnel security standard check prior to starting their employment with the company.
Candidates must be willing and eligible to complete a United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) security clearance application to the Security Check (SC) level upon starting their employment with the company.
To gain SC Clearance you will normally need at least 5 years' UK residency.
