ACCOUNT MANAGER (PR & Events) Full time – 5 Days a week – Finish at 4pm on Fridays but may require some weekend/ evening work.
Reporting directly to the Agency Director, you will be responsible for a small team of Account Executives, as well as working alongside the Social Media Manager/ Exec for specific campaigns.
You will work largely on a major national homewares brand (retail) with a strong focus on event planning and management.
You will be the daily point of contact for clients and responsible for compiling annual PR strategies, as well as actioning them accordingly.
You will build relationships with existing and new clients, as well as organise/lead client or internal meetings.
Working across PR, Events & Social Media, you will check-in daily with your team to ensure tasks are completed and on track – helping re-workload when necessary.
Although the position is remote, working predominantly from home and through Teams meetings and messaging, the role includes regular onsite client meetings, team meet ups and catch ups in Chester/ Manchester and at a London co-working site, as well as attending a series of weekly client events throughout the year.
Preferred but not vital: Based in the North West  Driving license and car  Experience planning events and delivering on time and within budget Retail awareness and knowledge Role/responsibilities – PR ·      Developing news angles, campaigns, stories and pitches to further the client's profile, products and services.
·      Keeping abreast of current PR trends / tools and monitor the media for client opportunities.
·       Contacting and following up with any press on a daily basis by phone/email to see what they are working on.
INFLUENCER ENGAGEMENT ·      Building client relationships and maintaining a network of media contacts including journalists and industry spokespeople.
·      Copywriting and editing – including social media, blogs, newsletters, press releases, feature articles etc.
·      Issuing press coverage to clients on a daily basis, where relevant.
·      Checking Response Source for suitable leads and following up for each relevant client on a constant basis.
·      Compiling monthly PR reports alongside the team and issuing to the client.
·      Being involved in pitching for new business and developing PR proposals.
Role/responsibilities – Events ·      Overseeing client/event budgets and finalising costs.
·      Overall event management through prior organisation and attendance on the day of the event.
·      Assisting the Account Executives with supplier research, quotes, logistics and operations.
Role/responsibilities – Social ·      Managing paid influencer campaigns and setting budgets, deliverables and contracts.
·      Approving social media plans for clients and drafting copy where necessary on a monthly basis – ensuring that the plans are signed off by clients in advance.
